There is a TRICK to raising for, caring for and nurturing successful people. The principles apply from infancy all the way through to adulthood and are equally applicable in the work place, as they are to parenting.

Trust is absolutely critical. When an individual is trusted they will learn to trust themselves and their judgements.

Respect, although respect is mutual and has to be earned, fostering respectful relationships will empower and encourage young people. A lack of respect can be very debilitating.

Independence can be scary as students grow up and get older. Young people need independence in order to grow and learn, The more independent young people are the more empowered they become.

Collaboration is where learning takes place, not just subject matter but also learning about emotions, leadership and responding to people and situations.

Everybody is successful when there is more Kindness 

Successful people have a blend of these qualities and the right balance of support, challenge and independence.
